Jeremy's First Talk

Jeremy gave his first talk on Sunday. Despite several great practice rounds with dad where Jeremy repeated everything his dad said and even ad-libbed some really appropriate stuff about our Heavenly Father and Jesus, JP lost it at the pulpit in the primary room. His legs failed to hold him up. His voice failed to project. Most importantly, little man was overcome by a huge case of the sillies. I guess this is why they get to speak in primary - to get some practice before they start giving youth talks. We were still really proud of him. Jeremy did stand up there and he did try which must be pretty overwhelming for a four year old. Jeremy was pretty proud of himself when he was done with his talk.

Drive-in Movie!

Jarom's party was followed by a trip to the drive-in that night. We ventured out with a little faith and it was well rewarded. We thought we would get rained out because the sky looked like this before the movie started...

...despite the ominous looking sky, we watched both Wall-E and Hancock!

Everyone had fun.

The little party that could...

Jarom had his 4th birthday party on Saturday! A day of fun playing in the water on a Bonzai and Slip n' Slide was scheduled. This great plan was derailed by a mid summer rain storm so the party moved inside. It was still a fun day and Jeremy was happy that he got in a few rides on the slide before the rain started pouring.

Happy Birthday Jarom!!

Wii and Snacks

Kristi and Joseph came for a visit from BYU arriving on Friday night. Everyone got together at the house to spend some time playing Wii and having some snacks. Kristi and Joe stayed for the whole weekend and we spent several days hanging out and doing various activities. On Friday we had a fun time talking, playing Wii and playing a game called ImaginIff. The boys love the Wii and after watching everyone play we are a little tempted to buy one ourselves.
