I have been encouraging Jeremy to say more thoughtful prayers and last night before tucking him in reminded him to say 5 things he needed or was thankful for. Five things because he is 5 years old. He usually gets close but last night we heard a new version...
"Dear Heavenly Father. One. We're thankful for this day. Two. Please bless the food. Three. Please bless our family. Four...etc.
My kid is way too smart for me.

I make my kids do the same thing, but so far, they have never started counting during a prayer. So cute!
Ok, that is funny! How did you keep from cracking up?
I wasn't able not to laugh but just did it really quietly.
